Current Projects

  • Dave Bettney and Ken Vissers  recently constructed a gate behind the elementary building. This new space will provide an area for the elementary students to learn cultivation as part of their agriculture lessons. They will be planting corn, tomatoes, and other local crops.

  • Dave Bettney is currently raising funds for a Work Shop on campus. The workshop will be used for various purposes at the school, including:

  1. Work area for on-going or future projects at the school (ie. building shelves)
  2. Storage area for tools and materials for the projects.
  3. A classroom to teach the students basic carpentry skills, as part of the Home Economics class.

You can see from the pictures that there is no space for those items and is placed anywhere there is room, but out of the way of the children. The photos show where we would like to place the building and the space we have chosen for it. Please see the budget for this project below (in Canadian dollars) and the materials needed.
